The formula set the first steps in the field of e-commerce in early 2009. The online assortment was then expanded further. In 2014 a new brand identity and a new store concept was launched around inspiration, experience and service. The webshop was equipped with digital measurement options and buying aids.

The basis for Leen Bakker was laid by Cornelis Bakker. His textile store in Rotterdam grew into one of the largest interior decorators in the Netherlands and Belgium in almost a century. Leen Bakker realizes an annual turnover of more than 330 million euros.
