The event is part of Dutch Media Week, in which media in all their facets are central to the professional and the general public.
"We believe that new cross-media applications, both online and offline, can increase the economic vitality of inner cities. That is why we want to offer inspiration and share knowledge in the field of new creative media applications in the city center, "says Joziasse.
According to the program manager, shoppers are increasingly in need of different forms of experience and pure purchasing has become less relevant due to the influence of online shopping. "Consumers do not only want to buy, but also an appropriate experience. And it is the creative media industry that knows how to take care of this experience and infotainment. ''
If you go to the Retail & Media Event, an extensive program is waiting. The day starts with a Media Park & Mediastad Safari, where the participants are shown around the Mediapark and can take a look in the kitchen of various media companies and studios. Then they visit the Hilversum center, where further explanation is given about the innovations in the Media City.
