Apeldoorn, 31 January 2018 - Low-code platforms have the future according to the latest Forrester report . This is expressed in the success of low-code software supplier such as Thinkwise . The company expects to double licensing sales through partners in 2018 and to help many new customers with flexible business software for their business-critical systems. According to Forrester, new technologies such as low-code give a strong impulse to software development. Suppliers of low-code platforms can quickly and flexibly deliver high-quality business software, which leads to more involvement and satisfaction of their customers. Low-code platforms bring the benefits of custom software within reach of business customers, but without the disadvantages. This also applies to Thinkwise. The company has so far been very successful in developing low-code business software for the business-critical systems of large organizations. For example, last year, Thinkwise completed the implementation of a new ERP system at 36 VDL operating companies. Furthermore, the company celebrated its fifteen-year anniversary and gained second place at the Computable Awards in the category Software supplier of the year. Low-code innovations According to the Forrester Predictions 2018 we can expect many new innovations this year. For example, the market research firm draws the attention of the software industry to be prepared for the appearance of more and more new low-code functions that meet specific requirements relating to business software, Artificial Intelligence and big data. Thinkwise also does not stand still and the R & D department continuously develops on the Thinkwise platform. Thinkwise in 2018 Thinkwise wants to continue its growth in 2018. Due to the increasing specialization in low-code landscape, the company will in 2018 focus more on license sales through package suppliers who buy the Thinkwise Suite to renew their package and consultancy companies that use the Thinkwise Suite to realize specific customer solutions. They can then apply their industry knowledge to the development of low-code software models for specific markets. Acto is a good example of a package supplier that, in collaboration with Thinkwise, is developing a new ERP system for its customers in the installation and construction sector. It is expected that this focus on license sales will generate more growth for Thinkwise. The company also continues to focus on developing turnkey business software for the core systems of large customers and on companies that develop with the Thinkwise Platform themselves. Robert van der Linden, CEO of Thinkwise, says: "We are currently working on a new licensing model, where we are decoupling the license sales from our turn-key business. With the latter we continue to focus mainly on large customers with hundreds of users and their central systems. " Employees wanted Thinkwise has had an extremely successful year and intends to continue this growth and development in the new year. The company is therefore looking for at least 50 new employees with an HBO ICT background, or another technical higher vocational education. After their appointment, they will receive a Thinkwise training internally in which all aspects of the Thinkwise Suite and the project approach will be dealt with in a six-month timeframe.
