The rumors have been going on for some time, but there is a big chance that Apple will introduce a first iMac with retina screen later this month, together with new iPads.

This new iMac has reportedly the same thin design already the 2012 model, but of course with faster processors and WiFi antennas. And not to mention Yosemite OS, which also has to come out somewhere this month.

As far as resolution is concerned, gambling is blown, but in Yosemite there are indications for screens with 6400 × 3600, 5760 × 3240 and 4096 × 2304 pixels. There were already rumors about a 5K iMac.

Apple also wants to release new versions of iMovie and Final Cut Pro, especially for high resolution editing.

Apple may also come, according to the same rumor drum, with a new Mac Mini, the box that comes without screen and keyboard. The Mac Mini has not been renewed for two years.
