Turnover e-commerce VS sharply higher in the second quarter

The 75 billion dollar is 4.9 percent more than in the first quarter of 2014. The share of 6.4 percent of the total retail turnover is a record. Last quarter it was 6.2 percent and last year it was 5.8 percent.

The ministry bases its estimates on quarterly measurements among 12, 000 online stores and also includes sales via smartphones and tablets.
