LG launches Gram Ultra

LG gets into the market for laptops, better late than never. The first Gram Ultra with Windows 10 looks pretty nice. In itself it is not even a remarkable ultrabook in terms of specs: there is no touch screen and the RealSense camera that recognizes faces is missing. In addition to a 1080 HD screen, the laptop has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (expandable)

In itself it is not even a remarkable ultrabook in terms of specs: there is no touch screen and the RealSense camera that recognizes faces is missing. In addition to a 1080 HD screen, the laptop has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (expandable). He is about as thin as the MacBook Air.

Furthermore, the fifth generation Intel Broadwell chipset is used, so the battery life is limited to 7.5 hours. Why LG has not opted for the just launched Skylake chips is not clear.

At the moment the laptop is only for sale in American stores from Microsoft and via Amazon for 899 dollars.
