The magazine of the independent interest group Consumers Union makes an opinion about the new iPhone that can be expensive for Apple. The antenna, located in the outer edge of the phone, is easy to disrupt.

To what extent this technical error will have financial consequences for Apple is not known.

A demonstration by the researchers of Consumer Reports quickly shows how the error manifests itself. They also offer a solution: attach an adhesive tape over the edge of the phone:

Reports about the poor quality of the antenna in the phone have been heard since the beginning of the month. Apple confirmed the complaints by promising a software upgrade that should improve receipt.

Consumer Reports looked at more aspects of the phone than just the antenna. All available parts, hardware and software have been examined. In general, the new iPhone is the best scoring smartphone available on the market. The quality of telephony and SMS can be improved, but all other tested elements are labeled 'excellent'.
