Breukelen, December 10, 2018 - SprayPay, a Dutch payment method to pay online purchases in a spread, now offers more possibilities to the internet cash register. The period within which consumers have to repay their purchase has been extended. This term was 12 months. Now the consumer can choose a period of 12, 18, 24 or 36 months. Furthermore, the maximum amount to pay in installments has been increased from EUR 2500 to EUR 3500.

With this, the rapidly growing SprayPay meets the consumer's desire to repay durable consumer goods - such as bicycles, CV and furniture - over a longer period and with a lower monthly amount. For online stores, it means that they can offer more options on their payment page. Even with these broader options, the risk for the transaction remains fully with SprayPay, not with the web store.

Since the launch, the new online payment method has gone fast. More than eighty Dutch webshops have been connected in just a few months. These are mostly large web shops that sell products such as bicycles and e-bikes, (garden) furniture, white and brown goods, baby products, heating and sanitary. Expenditures for such products, with a high purchase price and a long useful life, sometimes do not turn out well for consumers, or they make too great a claim on a person's financial buffer. SprayPay can then offer a solution.

SprayPay has the ambition to acquire a permanent place on the payment pages of Dutch webshops. In order to speed up the connection of new web shops, SprayPay recently entered into a partnership with payment provider Pay.nl.
