Six percent of European online marketing budgets to video

Advertisers spent more than a billion euros on online video advertising in the first half of 2015. The bulk of the budgets went to display advertising, which has been overtaken by the growth of programmatic trading search.

Like video investors advertisers also for the first time more than a billion euros in mobile display advertising. This category of mobile expenses rose by 58 percent and accounts for 24 percent of all display expenses.

IHS makes no public distinction between countries in the semi-annual AdEx Benchmark.

For the whole of 2015, the researcher expects another spending record, growing from 30.7 to 34 billion euros.
