22Tracks winner Dutch Startup Awards

In addition, 22Tracks also won the prize for best application. The principle of the application is simple: a jukebox with 22 playlists of different genres and 22 songs per genre, chosen by DJs who play that genre.

The competition, where Dutch internet startups enter the competition, was organized for the second time by The Next Web and Emerce. Of the 70 submitted startups, 5 were nominated per category. More than 8, 000 votes have been cast through the well-known social networks.

Other winners this year were WeTransfer, who went home with the prize for best web application. Whoopaa was crowned best newcomer. The biggest promise this year is Film It Yourself from VPRO's 3voor12. The prize for best founder went to Mathys van Abbe from Mobypicture.

Last year Eduhub came out as the big winner.
